PAN Card Resize is a free, browser-based tool that allows users to crop, resize, and compress photos to meet the specifications required by Indian PAN card application portals (Protean eGov Technologies and UTIITSL). All image processing runs locally in your browser — no files are uploaded to any server.

2. No Affiliation with Government Bodies

This tool is an independent project and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the Income Tax Department of India, NSDL/Protean eGov Technologies Limited, UTIITSL, or any other government body. "PAN Card" is used solely to describe the tool's purpose.

3. Accuracy of Portal Specifications

We make every effort to keep the built-in portal presets (photo dimensions, file size limits, DPI, and format) accurate and up to date. However, portal requirements can change without notice. We do not guarantee that the specifications listed are current at the time of your use. Always verify the current requirements on the official Protean or UTIITSL portal before submitting your application.

4. Use at Your Own Risk

This tool is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that photos processed using this tool will be accepted by any portal. Acceptance depends on many factors beyond file size and dimensions — including photo quality, face visibility, background, and compliance with each portal's current guidelines — which are outside our control.

5. No Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of this tool, including but not limited to rejected PAN applications, delayed processing, or loss of application fees.

6. Intellectual Property

All content on this website — including text, layout, code, and design — is the property of PAN Card Resize. You may not reproduce, copy, or distribute any part of this site without prior written permission, except for personal, non-commercial use.

7. Privacy

Your use of this tool is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated into these Terms by reference. In summary: your photos are never uploaded and no personal data is collected through the tool itself.
